I do wonder how all the fans still light up correctly without running the software, I assume settings are saved into the motherboard? I mainly like SIV for it's simple setup and easy hardware monitoring, but am open to alternatives.From Windows Update Step 1. I can't find BIOS RGB control but I've stopped running the software on startup and everything appears to still work at orange except my RAM no longer lights up which I'm fine with if it's safer. I've already removed BIOS, EasyTune and cFosSpeed since I haven't really used them at all, but am wondering about what else I absolutely should remove. I think I just got really lucky or something so far but I don't want to wait for something bad to happen. Last night I was reading about the many many issues people have with software and am mostly concerned about RGB Fusion 2.0 wiping people's drives. I saved a backup on an older HDD via Smart Backup which seems to have not had any issues, but I haven't needed to restore my PC yet so I don't actually know. SIV has had slight problems with my second monitor and window size but I've found a very quick/easy fix and it's only necessary on boot. ![]() RGB Fusion has worked for my 3 Scythe fans, 2 Cooler Master fans, and RAM all running on static orange. From then til now I have minimal to no issues using these apps. While setting up, I manually downloaded some software that seemed useful including App center, RGB Fusion 2.0, EasyTune, Smart Backup, BIOS, SIV, and cFosSpeed.
